- Take a section of hair at the front of your face and split it into 3 equal sections
- Cross the top strand over and into the middle, so this is now the middle strand
- Then cross the bottom strand over and into the middle
- Again cross the top strand over and into the middle
- Now you want to cross the bottom strand over and into the middle, but before you do that, take a small section of the strand and let it go
- Repeat steps 4-5 until the braid can reach the back of the head
- Create another braid on the other side and tie them together at the back
- Take a new section of hair at the front closer to your ear and split it onto 3 equal sections
- Then cross the top strand over and into the middle
- Now cross the bottoms strand over and into the middle
- Again cross the top strand over and into the middle, but this time add the first section of hair hanging down from the previous braid
